BERLIN -- Georgian filmmaker Otar Iosseliani won the Silver Bear prize for best director at the Berlin Film Festival Sunday for his feature ***Monday Morning***.

The French production tells the story of a factory worker who escapes the drudgery of his workaday village life with a trip to Venice.

***Monday Morning**** is Iosseliani's 16th feature film.
